Stanford University

In 2020 I graduated with an M.A. from Stanford University in learning, Design & Technology.

A FEW PROJECTS I DID DURING LDT

CURRICULUM DESIGN

For the class Curriculum Construction, I was a part of a team that created a portfolio addition to enhance the existing Project Invent design thinking curriculum.

Project Invent’s overarching curriculum rationale is rooted in its mission to deliver “design thinking and invention programs to empower every student as an innovator.”

Portfolios are a key aspect of the design process that helps designers reflect on and showcase both their process and products.

EDUCATIONAL ESCAPE ROOMS

In January 2020 I built an educational escape room with Louie Montoya (my internship mentor at the d.school) and Mark and Ann from Breakout EDU.

The storyline was the Berlin Wall where we built two escape rooms side by side where attendees needed each others help in escaping from/breaking the wall.

Around 100 educators went through the experience at the d.schools Futures Fest and it was a huge hit!
