Werewolf card deck for educators
There are many skills in the Icelandic national curriculum that students should learn and know such as being able to express their opinion and ideas as well as take a stand based on the information given.
I had used the board game Werewolves in my classroom to help students practice those skills, but wanted to get a deck of those cards into the hands of more teachers. So I decided to both design and then give away the Werewolves board game to Icelandic schools and teachers.

Many traditional ways of teaching this, i.e. with a textbook, don’t work as well as methods that resemble real life more. I love to gamify learning and so I have used the game Werewolf to have students take on role and practice their skills in speaking up, using logic and reason to discuss and so on.

This was the most effective way to get the tools into the hands of students to help them practice their reasoning, speaking and communication skills.
